Some of you may recall a dress that the lovely Kari debuted on the forum over the weekend... What you may not be aware of is that she specifically texted me the link to the dress and launched an all out campaign to make me acquire it too. I have to say that she didn't have to work particularly hard. her description of the colourful print, coupled with its features as described by the store, made the decision pretty easy. So, here it is.
I wanted to accessorize in a way that would let the statement dress do the talking, but my first instinct was to add pops of white. I hashed out a whole other set of accessories, but changed my mind this morning and went with my original vision. Imagine my delight, then, when I revisited Angie's post on combining orange with blue and saw her advice to... Wear white. I do hope the white sandals, white and gold bangle and gold earrings are harmonious and an appropriate canvas for this dress.
