@Deborah - I do not think there is a cure for clutch fever. I think it's actually in the genes of those who are in the YLF tribe.
@harmonica and Suz - Thanks! I would enjoy seeing your interpretations.
@Lyn D. - I much prefer layering in the fall and winter. Although my winters are mild.
@Ceit - Do you wear hats? I bet you would rock a fedora!
@kkards - I've learned from thrifting to not just look at my usual size. The next size or two up just might have shrunk from repeated washings. At B&M stores, if there is a pretty item and it's the last one left on a sale rack, I usually hold it up to see if the size might be close enough to try on. Many times I have found sizes mislabeled. Win for me!
@TraceyLiz65 - What does the "65" mean? I'm going to need a crash helmet if you tell me that is your age!
@Angie - I can't believe the rubber sandals are part of a KILLER outfit. You are so FAB for stopping by!
@Annagybe - You usually like my fedora outfits. Have you added a fedora to your wardrobe? I run cold, so shorts don't usually come out until the high 70's.
@Thistle and Shevia - Thanks! I almost didn't post #1 because I thought it was too simple. It's amazing how a hat can change an outfit.
@MaryK - Thanks, but that title goes to goldenpig.
@Beth Ann- Yes, low 70's still allow some great layering.
My poolside rubber slingbacks are actually a 1/2 step above flip flops IMO (see pic below). Do you mean the Danskos keep the striped skirt from looking too twee?
@Adelfa - Thanks! Simple pieces are in my comfort zone, but I have maximal style tendencies.
