Had the day off for Veteran's Day so went out to have lunch with J at his work (poor boy had to work today) and then to do some shopping. I got my cheap "pleather" front drapey cardigan this weekend so I thought I'd try it out. "Pleather" is in quotes because it's really coated fabric, and is too slippery and drapey to even pretend to be leather. Still, it's a fun piece although I wish it were a bit longer (it's a petite because regular was not available). I am a little annoyed by the tee here, it's a bit too short and shapeless, but otherwise I liked the outfit.

Shopping trip was very successful! I found pumps! (Although maybe some would say these are actually flats). They are pointy kitten heel Bruno Maglis, on super sale at the Rack. They stay on my feet, amazingly, and do not squish my toes or bunion. A teeny bit tight (on post-shopping feet to be fair) but I am sure they will stretch as they are fully leather inside and out and very soft.

Also bought the BR merino v-neck sweater to replace my dead black merino sweater. I decided regular length was better than petite.

And, finally, just for fun, a picture of me trying on a Lanai I found at Marshall's. I left it behind even though it was a great price and a fantastic wine color because it does the same armpit/shoulder thing it did on Suz.

outfit details: Style&co cardigan via macy's, Kut jeans, H&M tee, Frye boots, Maxx New York bag.
