Hi Fabbers,

Well I wore this in spite of our endless heat lol. It as fine for the office, where I spent the day but would have been too warm if I was out and about.

The skirt is Laura Ashley (see # 4). I bought it months ago (before Xmas) and it has been sitting in my wardrobe while I work out how I want to wear it. It's a lovely weight jersey and will work through all seasons except for high summer. I liked it with the tailored jacket and think I will wear a similar tweaked version for winter but with boots.

Top and sleeveless jacket you have seen many times before and these shooties haven't had a lot of love this summer. They are looking tired and may soon be retired.

A couple of challenging days at work and sleepless night have made me 'chop of my head' so as not scare any small children or animals

I think this works? Would love your thoughts and any suggestions you may have for styling this skirt.

#2 is supposed to show the drape but the black really is challenging to photograph

I am really enjoying your style. That skirt is simplistic in its beauty I could see it belted or with statement jewelry. It could be a supporting player with a beautifully patterned top or dressed down with a denim jacket or sweater.

love the length of this skirt, and the drape is lovely. i like it as styled. i'm thinking ahead to true fall weather and imagining it with booties and tight or a nice pointed toe pump or flat.

Like the skirt's drape so much! Artsy and very very you! Love the shiny whites with it(better than some matte perhaps) and I see the sleeveless blazer is doing a good job for you! Love the ideea of pairing skirt with a simple white tee and a denim jacket(&maybe with some white cons?) for more casual settings, of course.

Lovely drape on your skirt. I bet you'll wear it frequently once the weather cools down more. It'd be interesting to see it styled as Lyn67 suggested.

Just great! In fact, thank you for posting this as i've been on the hunt for a slim-silhouette midi skirt which still allows for plenty of leg freedom and this is just the ticket.

I agree you do look even fabber with your hair and wonderfully done macquillage. But, as one who takes many selfies, i also understand that every once in a while there's a picture you don't want to loose on the world!!
