Hi Fab Ones!

Well it's as cropped as I think I will ever go

New jersey top. Love the gathers on the shoulder and the drape it creates under the arm. I don't usually wear tops that are this short, but I was feeling adventurous:)

Worn with my trusty harem leggings and birk-a-likes, for the morning grocery run.

What say you? Am I dreaming? I would classify this look as JFE. Would you??

Yup - cool and interesting,and JFE. I love to look at harem pants, but can't quite bring myself to try them. I don't pay too much attention to what DH likes and doesn't like (or I'd drive myself insane), but i know this would send him and DD over the edge. I love it on you ! You are the boss of urban cool.

Thanks Lisa:) My DH thinks the dropped crotch look is "questionable" shall we say lol. What I thought was particularly funny was when I came home from shopping with Master 11 (for some new clothes for him) and he chose a pair of cropped leg, dropped crotch track style pants. DH is outnumbered in the fashion stakes.

I recommend keeping your eye out though, they are so comfy and it's just a matter of finding the right pair. I just wanted the dropped crotch and skinny leg, not a full on billowy harem pant, I have just purchased a new pair that are more a 'pants" look that I can team with a blazer for the office.

I love the drape on your top! And I think the length of it looks great here, maybe because the harem pants sit higher on the waist?

I really love the soft grey of the top on you. It's a fun look because it harkens back to the old gym tees, yet is so much more elegant!

That's true, Suz, hadn't made the connection. It's a bit of a muscle tshirt lol. Does that mean I am wearing it ironically??? Given I don't actually work out;)

Welcome to the dark side, Deborah! Loving the crop - I think the shorter length balance the volume in both the bottom and top.

Love this Deborah. Very EF. I like the outfit exactly as you styled it. I was interested in a piece like this and wanted to wear it over a sleeveless dress or tunic. Did you try it like that? The EF tipsters always make it look so cool and easy. I'm very intrigued. I particularly love the shade of gray, drape around the arm holes - they really nailed those crucial proportions!! Enjoy it!

Goodness ladies, you do make me feel good.
Gryffin, yes you are so in my head! I have tried this over a sleeveless tube style dress and it looks great and you have point pointed my favorite things about this top. I have been wearing this all day and feel really fab.

Lyn, I just had to go and check lol. Yes there is a little. But I wear a black fitted tank underneath so it kind of looks intentional ... I think!

Caro, yes, it does but it needs bottoms that are a little high wasted. I will certainly investigate further options

Yes, the intentional draped effects look great and JFE to me! I dig the cropped top; it looks new with the harems.

Love the look! I laughed when I read the 'questionable' comment about the harem pants because I don't think my husband could handle them either. But they look good on you!
