WIW: Corporate Comfy - YouLookFab Forum

I'm in meetings today from 9:00 - 2:00 and need to be both corporate and comfy for the day. I'm so glad I bought this skirt suit and have it to not only wear as separates, but grab as a suit for these types of days.

I've paired my black suit with my metallic drapey EF tee to add a bit of punch and unexpectedness to the corporate suit look. I'm wearing nude hose for a bit of leg warmth (it's a bit cool this morning) and am wearing a pair of Naot shoes. Y'all know my shoe woes these days and I have had these Naot Mary-Jane style pumps for a few years now. I had tucked them away since I wasn't feeling too much love for them in the last two years but they are oh so comfy so am bringing them back into rotation. I love the gunmetal "not quite black" colour of them. They may not be cutting edge in style but they are a 10 out of 10 on the comfort scale.

My oversized animal print clutch and purple/clear specs finish off the outfit. I have to brush my teeth and then promise to put on some lipstick!

Love the daytime shine! It's also perfect for a meeting day, when most people are seeing your top half over a table -- it brings nice light toward your face.

And Naots are luxury comfort shoes. Good choice.

The tee and clutch really kick that suit up a notch! I like that the tee isn't "hey I'm a bit metallic" but "HEY I"M METALLIC" ifyouknowwhatimean. Makes the suit look that much more purposeful.

So y'all liked the metallic tee with the suit, eh? At my Board meeting, the Chair person actually commented on my tee saying it was "quite snappy" - lol!

Ooh, I love the tee with the suit. Just the perfect little hit of bling and slouch. It's so cool.

And hooray for Naots! I sadly cannot wear their regular shoes because my feet are too low volume, but I have 2 pairs of their boots and 5 pairs of their sandals.
