Kellygirl-Thanks! I agree, some of my outfits really say 'fall.' I'm starting to realize that my closet is very unbalanced with the seasons and I am reaching for fall colored pieces for our cool spring days.
Suz and Kiwichik-Thanks! I am definitely a member of kingdom blue.
Rachylou-Thanks for the chuckle!
Diane G-Thanks! I am a big fan of blazers and have learned that I have to be very picky about the shape of them. Since I am a pear shape, blazers with one button closers and a little curve inward on the waist look best to my eye.
TraceyLiz65-Thanks! I agree, the turquoise shoes are not the most flattering on me. I haven't been able to figure out why yet. I'm not sure if it's the color that makes it look wide, or the fact hat the shoe has a higher vamp.
Lyn D-Thanks! I was nodding my head in agreement as I read your comment. The longer I do the DH Closet Challenge, the more I realize how important the 'right' pieces are in a wardrobe. I can own less pieces, but more of the 'right' one's for remixing and have far more outfits than I did previously.
Angie-Thanks! #2 (with cobalt jeans) reminded me of an outfit you posted a while back with coral jeans and I adored that look. It was fun to recreate the outfit. #5, amazing killer, I think that's a first for me! I adore blues, but I'm enjoying mauve and brown even more and I'm keeping an eye out for those colors when I shop for next fall/winter. I think they will be softer on me than shopping for black and greys for fall/winter.
Marmee-Thanks! I also think 1, 6 and 7 are my spring-i-est looks.
Thistle-Thanks! It was fun to sport a suit for the day, since I rarely wear them.
