WIW catch-up: 70s revisted, teal, new denim shirt

I don't want to get behind on my posting, even though I have been way busier than usual (resumes, job searching, wedding planning). Sorry if I have been MIA and missing some of your lovely posts. :T

1- I'll let you in on a secret: this top doesn't button over my bust, but I bought it anyway, and clearly wore it to the office. Thank heaven for vests! I actually really liked the outfit and received several compliments, so I'm happy.

2- Bringing one of my fave winter outfits into spring (the original is pic #4). I wonder if I need a brighter bag to match the bright turquoise belt? Maybe next time I will try my yellow bag?

3- Picked up a denim shirt for a buck. Wore this tromping around LA and Orange County. The shirt came off and back on several times, so it ended up untucked after all was said and done. I may have liked it better untucked, actually... very strange for me!

Fun outfits! I love the denim shirt -- and only $1 -- woohoo!
I also love all things citron, so great purse and I even prefer the citron with the black/white skirt outfit (but I prefer the hosiery from the blue accessorized version).

Then again, that blue bag you magically created is pretty amazing, and the blues are very striking with the black & white. . .

And no one would every guess your secret in pic #1 - you look very professional in a funky way

#2 is perfectly chic. I love the contrasting stripes, and the blue accessories. Also love your casual look, what kind of jeans are they? The pockets look different. I like the distressing, it's not too overdone.

All the looks are great but I really like to see you with the denim look.It's more casual and I like the vibe it gives of you strolling around and having fun.

I'm really liking #3, and for someone who's not a fan of denim shirts, that's saying a lot! It gives off the feeling that you are absolutely comfortable and confident in every stitch of clothing you have on. Truly effortless looking.

Denise, the jeans are Hudson signature boot cut. I think I have 4 of the same style in different washes. o_0

Bella and Lisa, our dress code unfortunately bans fishnets of any kind. Are there any good alternatives out there? Going sheer was the best I could come up with.

Oh, and that tie shirt is 100% pure polyester -- definitely retro in that regard, too!
