These last couple of days have been super warm. Today it got into the 80s, believe it or not.

Anyway, apparently last week was blazer week and this week is buttondown week. I think I might continue the trend for the rest of the week, even though it's supposed to cool down again.

1-3: Finally warm enough for boots with bare legs! Yay! This is a topshop buttondown with interesting overlapping back detail from NAS last year. I'm not sure the color is reading correctly in these photos - it's like a cool toned pale silver IRL. Paired with a knit pencil skirt, moto boots, and faux leather front jacket. This was fun and easy to wear.

4-5: With all the talk about wide leg crops, I thought I'd pull out my olive linen culottes since it was practically summer weather today. I've mentioned before that I think of these more as a skirt when I style them (so, shorter length, more fitted tops, emphasizing the flare of the pants rather than the overall wideness), but since we've been talking about wide leg pants, I figured I'd try styling them as pants for a change (with a straighter, longer outfit silhouette). I chose to pair them with my J Crew Liberty blouse, which is something that I'd usually wear with pants rather than a skirt. But it still has some structure which is important with the wide trousers. What do you think?
