This cowl sweater is old. However, two of Angie's recent posts inspired me to break it out of storage.
Outfit One: The first post that sent me to my closet looking for this sweater was Angie's post on layering a button down under a cowl. I have a drapey, silky black and white button down that I thought might work. I'm not sure it does, though. A deeper, looser cowl would probably work better since I have a short neck. What do you think? Go for repeat wears? Or pass on this combo?
Outfit Two: The second post was Angie's post on cobalt and burgundy skinnies. Angie mentioned wearing cobalt with burgundy if you are ready for a bolder color combo. I like that combo, but hadn't tried it out with this sweater until today. I think this works. I wish I had been bolder and gone with my leopard booties rather than just the belt. Even if it is a little sedate, I think it is pretty good. The color combo alone makes it interesting. What do you think?
As a side note, I've been amazed by how versatile these cobalt pants have been. I bought them with real reservations over whether I would be able to find enough things to go with them. I seem to wear them at least once a week, though. Score one for Team Color.
