Autumn weather is starting to creep in now and the leaves are beginning to turn already - time to bust out the boots!

Today's outfit started with my black knit pencil skirt and a simple black knit sleeveless sweater. On top of that, I added my bronze metallic open knit hi-lo cardigan (should have taken a pic sideways so you could see the exaggerated hi-lo hem).

For footwear, it was time to debut the new Doc Martens - oh so comfy and adds that bit of urban edge. I adore the pairing of a pencil skirt with stompy boots - great juxtaposition.

For accessories I went with my red/animal print clutch for a wild pop of colour and print, gold wedding band, red specs and red lippie. I would have liked to have worn a gold cuff but I'm a bit worried about any jewelry catching on the open weave of the cardigan so thought best to leave it off.

What do you think? Does it all work together? As always, all comments/suggestions welcome.
