This BF into boots look was not well received last time, but I LOVE it.

I have my biggest pair of BF jeans tucked into my moto boots. A V-neck striped t-shirt, and then a fitted military tunic style blazer on top. It's a bit wrinkled from being in my backpack this morning on the way to work (pouring rain so I had to wear my gear raincoat).

Happiness is 11 today.

Tunic blazer: Suzy Shier
Striped V neck: Gap
Jeans: Gap Sexy Boyfriend (2 sizes up)
Boots: Aldo
Belt: H&M

I really like the jacket with the boots. The jeans are baggy and give a somewhat different vibe than other bf jeans, but that doesn't mean it is not good.

Maybe I don't understand the BF look, but the crotch of those jeans is troubling to me. I've seen you in other clothes and you have such a cute figure. I don't think these do you any favors.

I love this outfit, Ceit! The distressed, slouchy jeans look fabulous with the crisp tailoring of the jacket, and the tucked-in-boots look is awesome. 11 out of 10 for happiness fer sure :).

I still love the baggy pants into boots look. That IS how they wear them in the military, so why not?

I can see why you love it! It looks crisp but also comfortable. I'll have to try my BF with my military style blazer!! Not sure I will do tucked into boots...but maybe I'll try combat boots! Thanks for the inspiration.

Love the cut of that jacket! I like the entire combination on you. As a friend's MIL once said about my friend's dress - "not *everyone* can wear a dress like that". : )

I like the jacket & the baggy fit of the jeans but I think they would work better with booties as the longer boots are creating a strange bunching effect around the knee.

Thanks everyone. I loved how flowy and comfy the BF jeans were contrasted with the very fitted topper. I will definitely be playing with this look more.

Not looking at other comments, I LOVE IT. I think the BFs almost look like jodhpurs here and add to the military vibe.

Wow, I think my style epiphany has really happened. Two killers in a week?! I need to go through my closet with an eye to my aspirational style and see what holes I need to fill or how I can rework existing pieces to my rubric.

Thanks Angie and everyone for the comments, it has been such a help the past couple months to start figuring out my look! I always fought my clothes before but I am starting to feel that they are fighting for me.
