WIW - booties with dress

I wore my new booties with a dress for the first time today! I felt a little self-conscious, so I just wanted to share - do you think it works? I was following the guideline about shorter hemlines with booties, but I also want to try it with a longer skirt next time.

I love this!

Booties are on my wish list. I looked for them in Vegas without any luck. What I did see had super skinny and high heels which aren't practical for me.
