Good morning beautiful Fabbers

Today's outfit centres around this gorgeous EF silk, sleeveless, black & white ombre blouse. I fell in love with this blouse the first time I saw it and found it on eBay new with tags. Fabulous eBay story by the way - it arrived a few weeks ago but when I unwrapped it, the seller had unfortunately folded the blouse in such a way that the glue from the original tag stuck to the silk and left a horrendous sticky stain. I took pics and sent to the seller who was positively mortified. She not only paid for the dry cleaning to remove the sticky stain, but offered a full refund including shipping to return the blouse if the stain did not come out. The dry cleaning was successful and I couldn't be more thrilled.

I've paired the blouse with my slim cropped EF trousers - this time with my black and white ankle strap pointy toe shoes. Angie had commented the last time I wore these cropped pants that she preferred them rolled unless worn with ankle straps. Well, when Angie speaks, I listen - lol!

The stock pic of this blouse shows it with a white tank underneath and with black trousers. When I first tried it, I wasn't sure as you can clearly see where the tank ends underneath the darker portion of the blouse. But when I tried a black tank underneath, I wasn't crazy about how it "dulled" the white portion of the blouse. So I'm going with a white tank and now actually quite like the effect. I realize it won't be to everyone's liking though.

And if the Arctic A/C is crazy in the office today, I will pop on my black suit blazer.

I finished off the outfit with my white leather clutch, silver watch and wedding band and my black/white specs.

So what do you think? does this all work together? As always, all comments/suggestions welcome.
