WIW: Black "suit" with animal print

WIW to a luncheon, followed by checking out Nordie's half-yearly sale.
I was eager to wear my new Theory Lanai jacket. I found this one greatly reduced, and the only one left was my size. Obviously FATE! It's ponte knit with leather insets, and I love it! I put it together with my Vince wool gabardine tux-style pants, and they don't match but I think they work well together as a "suit".
I would have worn heels, but since I was going shopping afterward and would be walking, I went with my patent snake-textured loafers. I added my jeweled necklace for fun and to make it a little more "girly".
I felt great in this outfit, and got lots of compliments! It made me want to dress up more often.

What do you think? Comments, questions, suggestions for improvement are always welcome!

It is the softest, most heavenly, almost like a sweatshirt, blazer that I've ever tried. You might like it even more than the Lanai.

Oh, wow! The temptation is huge. I am probably better a 0 in the Lanai. I have the 2 (sending back) and I think a 0 would be better.....but oh my, that is not cheap. Hmmm.

I love the other one, too. Adore it. I worry that I would have to cut off so much of the beautiful leather detail on the sleeve due to my short arms, alas.

Hmm, Suz, I didn't think about the sleeve length. And there are zippers. But I'm telling you, it feels SO good! It would be worth doing some alterations.

I wish there were more of the Lanais like mine left on sale. I got mine at Bloomingdale's, but as I said, it was apparently the very last one. I really lucked out with the price.
