WIW - birthday presents for a week

This is what I wore on my birthday and then the week following where I tried to wear all the gifts I'd been given. Any comments or suggestions are welcome. I love this forum group and wish I found time to post more often.

#1 - wore to my birthday dinner with the family.
#2 - the necklace is a birthday present from my mom.
#3 - the scarf is a present from my mom and the shoes were birthday present to myself.
#4 - same outfit but without the orange cardigan. I thrifted the cardigan and now can't figure out how to wear it without looking too halloween-y or candy corn-ish.
#5 - another pair of birthday shoes (can you tell where I spent my birthday money?). I have a hard time with this shirt. All the outfits I put together with it always seem so blah.
#6 - The necklace was a gift from my mom.

Happy birthday - you are adorable! Of course 1 and 3 are my favorites because of the awesome colors. I don't think you resemble any Halloween-themed treats whatsoever.

Happy birthday, Sara, and best wishes to you! You scored, big time, and I love your outfits. I don't think you look like a Halloween treat, because your scarf pulls the colors together so nicely. I love your birthday choice in #1 and the skirt, beginning with #3 so cool. There's also something that I just like about black and green together in #6 and it looks great with your new necklace. I have an orange cardi too, i love it but always wonder about that too, I have put it over brown tank before, more fall like colors i think, just a thought!

Happy Birthday! You looked lovely all week. FWIW When I've had orange tops, I like to pair them with blues (even denim) if I'm feeling a little too "halloween". Grey, red, camel, lots of colors would look great with your thrifted find.

These are all great outfits. What do you think about pairing the top half of #3 with the bottoms in #6? It looks like there is olive in the scarf. I could also see that gorgeous cardigan with a navy skirt and a scarf with navy in the print.

What a lovely week! Happy birthday! I hope you had a truly wonderful day. I love your birthday present shoes. They are like magic shoes, they seem to go with everything. I don't think the orange and black look cartoonish..I think it is a lovely combo. You could try a denim skirt or skinny jeans if you are worried about it.

You look great all week! Maybe try something a little different with the top in 5? Since it's so feminine, you could try some more rugged bottoms, like BF jeans, or skinny cargo pants (I think Taylor did a lovely dressy top with some cargoes a while back and looked smashing), so you get an interesting juxtaposition.

Thanks everyone for your comments and suggestions. I have some boyfriend jeans and some cargos that I might try with that white shirt in #5. I know it's not my normal style but I really liked the lace and detailing...Now I can't seem to figure out an outfit I like with it.
