A week ago Sunday was my birthday, and I was lucky enough to have lovely dinner plans with a number of friends. A party dress seemed appropriate, and given that I live in North Carolina, it wasn't too bitterly cold. I wore nude whale net tights and my Veronica shorties (and I said to my husband "It's my party, and I'll Frye if I want to!").
I often joke that sweaters are my superpower - I love them very much, and they are integral in my style expression, in their many forms. I also tend towards a fondness for juxtaposition, so the lovely sequin encrusted dress against the chunky men's fisherman-style sweater give me very much joy.
