I had a cocktail reception/concert to attend this evening after work, and I wanted to wear my Bellatrix jacket and black booties, so I thought I would style them two ways: with jeans and an oversized tee for day, and with my Allsaints deconstructed lace wrap dress and new sequin clutch for evening.
I loved both of these looks but I think next time I try something like this I'd go with comfier shoes for the day look. The booties are pretty comfy but maybe not 12 hours comfy, plus they are kind of wobbly, and I did end up taking a tumble when leaving work that left my ankle a bit sore and bruised.
Twisted ankle aside, I had a great, if long, day. We saw the Tokyo String Quartet in their final tour performance in Boston (the tickets were an early wedding gift from a family friend). They were amazing.
