And you totally have the height to pull this off, Ornella. Some of us would have to choose a bush! hee!

Seems like choosing your oufits helps you see the beauty in the world around you.! We're not having the most beautiful this year, although we were blessed with a really warm early autumn.

Love how you picked up the unusual coloring in this particular tree. The outfit has a marvelous energy from the combination of colors -- very modern.

I am so happy to read your comments. I loved this outfit and now I love it even more.

Beth Ann :: you are so, so funny. And you are right, there is extra layer in appreciating the nature thanks to this series. First it was the photos, then the outfits, then back to nature to see even more amazing colours, textures and details.

It was in Spring this year that I started really noticing (i.e. not taking them for granted) the actual palettes in the nature and lighting, and realised that certain shades only appear in Spring. Living again in distinctive four seasons climate was fresh to my eye and my senses. Then it clicked "hey, this is where seasonal colour analysis comes from", it made sense. And I've always loved Autumn, but now I know there are so many more colours in it than just brown and grey.

Your creativity shines. The colors are so pretty and your pose reminds me of a 60s modeling shoot (I just watched "Blow Up" again.)

I mostly choose my color palette based on ease or what I think flatters me. What a good idea to source inspiration from nature. That would be a great idea for a challenge -- create outfits around your own environment. No excuse for many YLFers (especially Canadians) to not wear winter white!
