I've gone too long in this series without wearing two of my favourite things - red colour and stripes. Therefore, based on the chosen photo today was about playing with red (cardigan), burgundy (hose and shoes) and muted shades (the scarf and the striped top) and seeing which unlikely combinations I'd come up and actually wear outside the house.
I think this shade of red is too bright for the scarf I wore, but its colour is more faithful representative of the palette I wear than the scarf of the top. Still, it did not stop me form having loads of fun putting the outfit together. It won't be so fun when I start putting the pile of clothes back on the hangers...
I had initially chosen to wear burgundy, then red jacket, but then remembered this waterfall cardigan. With it's pointy fronts it's supposed to echo the leaves.
The second photo shows how I wrap this cardigan to make it easier to layer the outerwear over.
Thanks for your time and comments.
