Authentic because I was there and that is what I wore. Angie's post today brought back some memories. A little late for throwback Thursday, but I enjoyed doing this.

#1 Zabriskie Point. There was a movie by that name released in 1970 and we had seen it. Most notable was an uncredited role as a college protester being arrested--a young Harrison Ford. With my boys. Early 70s.

#2 Death Valley without the jacket. I'll deny it if anyone says it's me.

#3 What we called "hippie" garb. My sister crocheted the shawl, DH bought the dress without me there, surprise, and I bought the granny boots. The twerp hiding behind my skirt will be 49 in a few weeks.

#4 Bought at an LA store called Fedco, peasant, less hippie. https://furrywa.wordpress.com/tag/fedco/ Cost $20. I think the shoes were $7.

#5 We bought a house--and became more "normal."

#6 Just for fun I threw this in. Mid-70s--I had a waist and a midriff. Never take those assets for granted the way I did.
