I realize there is one pic too many for how many days this month. That is because pic #2 was worn on the fly (2 min notice) to go to the bank with my BF. Realized I didn't like it on me anymore and changed instead into the mini I was debating purging (#3). It stays at least until I leave FL, and maybe just as an active capsule for Tahoe water adventures as a cover up. Likewise, the skirt in #4 is demoted to lounge or purge when I leave here. I don't like the shape, despite loving the print.
Most of the rest are either at home/lounge or errands to the store or whatnot. The blue dress was out to brunch on Sunday and the animal top with olive skirt to go bowling Monday.
Special shout out to Heather and her gift of belts. I've been wearing and enjoying them immensely! Mwah!

PS I can't wait to find replacement green sandals. 2 strikes so far I'm tired of my grommet flip flops!

Why is it you don't like the dress? Looks fine from my perspective. I do agree with you on the shape of the skirt in #4 though.

On the whole, you do simple very nicely. :o)

Mo, these are perfect looks for you, and seeing them all at once shows how cohesive this capsule has become for you. I am not a huge fan of that dress, only because I think it's somehow both too old and too young for you, if that makes sense. But I adore your blue dress and your separates!

Una, we cross posted. Yes, the dress is juniors, yet has a 40's vibe. I can totally understand how it's too young and old all at the same time.

The word "solid" springs to mind - as in, "Your casual Florida capsule is rock solid!" I love how the key colors of this capsule are evident when the WIWs are lined up like this.

I love all these outfits (except the dress in #2, totally agree with you on that one). Your style is fairly similar to mine and these give me some ideas for my own wardrobe. I love, love, love the sandals in #2 and #6! And can I have that mini when you decide to purge it? I think it looks great on you and I like the zippered pockets.

I am really glad you posted these outfits together. First, because it shows how well this capsule is working for you, and second because it gives us a sense of how you're really honing in on your style. Though dress 2 is flattering I can see why you'd want to say goodbye to it; it's no longer you.

I also love that I am not the only person around here who lives in a simple top and skirt or shorts during the hot weather. I should get a tripod so I can get some everyday pics, too. I hate to bug my daughter to take them when I'm so simply dressed, but I can see now that the exercise is valuable.

Love #7!!! Your wardrobe is so cohersive and solid and I admire your strength and stamina for keeping it like that. All of these are great outfits to my eye, though #7 is definately my favorite with edge and femininity. Might it be that #2 is not as summery when comes to colours? The fit is good, so I wouldn't think of that.

I like looking at a bunch of outfits at once, you can get a real sense of how honed one's style is or isn't that way. And you have nailed your style. It's casual yet has a fun element (texture or drape or print) everyday. A great casual capsule! And your legs are lovely in skirts.
