WIW and What I got (lots of pictures!!)

So it's sales season and it's MNG-goes-crazy-and-gives-50%off-season too, so I've been to MANGO this morning and gone crazy while at it.

1/2/3: is what I was wearing. I want to ask you if there's something wrong with this dress, and by wrong I mean 'overly sexy'. For some reason, I got too much unwanted male attention today, and don't know exactly way. I was wearing flats and, ok, it's a low neckline, but it's not THAT low. This is the most flirty dress I have, and I thought it was super sweet (even too sweet). I don't wear it very often because it's a bit big on me now, especially at the back (definitely not at the bust).

4/5/6: my first printed skirt ever. I've wanted a printed skirt for three years now, and never dared. I love printed bottoms as much as I dread them. They are difficult for me to pull off and pair with other things. Now, add a high waisted band and I don't know what to do with myself. But oh, they are so glam, right? I think I got it right with this one. The pattern is subtle and I think it's easy to combine with tops. Also, it's longer than usual skirts. But tell me if you think I'm wrong, I will return it if I'm not totally convinced.

7/8: Coral top. It's not the best shape for my hourglassy body, but tight clothes bother me, especially in summer, they are just... too revealing. I think this one works for me despite the width. Again, tell me if you don't think so!

9/10: Cream top. I actually liked this one better in the coral version, but It's too much coral in my wardrobe already, and I'm in need of creamy/white blouses. Again, not the best shape for me, but I think it could work with shorts and skinnies? I'm not very sure about this one, color is a bit off on my skin too. Also, it was the most expensive item of the three.

1/2/3/ Not overly sexy, you just look great in it, simple as that.
4/5/6 Perfection, your waist is so teeny. I love the print, not too crazy.
7/8 Looks almost too big on you in the 2nd shot. I love the detail and the colour is fun for summer. Keep, but is it a size too big?
9/10 I love this top, the detail at the sides make it for me. again it almost looks a bit too big in pic 9. the colour seems fine to me but that could be the lighting.

I wouldn't call that dress overtly sexy at all. You look great - maybe the men were so attentive because you look attractive as well as sweet and approachable? Men aren't all out 'trolling for Sex Kittens, right?

Your finds are really adorable, too. I like the fit of your voluminous tops with slim bottoms - very nice. Glad you finally found a printed skirt that tickles your fancy, too. I'm sure you'll think of lots of fun ways to wear it.

Erin, they are a little big on me, but they are an S size, so I can't really go down a size I guess that's how they are supposed to look?

I'm happy to see I'm no weirdo when I saw NOTHING sexy about that dress. I don't know, it just made me feel a bit uncomfortable...

Unwanted male attention is sometimes the price you have to pay to be a beautiful young woman. There is nothing wrong with the dress. I love the orange top with skinny jeans and the skirt with fitted top on you! The shorts outfit is cute too, in a more neutral, casual way.

1-3-Not overly sexy at all, you probably just looked cute in a dress among a sea of shorts and flip flops and t-shirts.
4-6-Super cute new skirt, the print is sweet. I already see styling potential with a white t-shirt or white button down shirt, or a denim shirt...
7 and 9-When sweating in the heat, big is the way to go, these tops look like they should have volume and with a slimmer bottom as you did here with the white jeans and short shorts, you look ready to go out. Great haul! And I love those denim shorts on you.

I agree with Airin's assessments. And I don't think that dress says sexy - it is sweet and summery. You have a beautiful figure and a tiny waist; guys notice that kind of thing no matter what you're wearing, for better or worse.

Fabulous outfits. I agree that the dress is not overly sexy. The skirt is simply perfect, wish I was young enough to wear one like it. Great tops, I went with a blouse that is a size too big yesterday in the killer heat and it was so much cooler than what I had been wearing. These aren't sloppy on you just breezy. Paired perfectly with the bottoms.
