Have you ever worn two belts simultaneously, buckled to each other? What do you think of the effect? (worn today in my 50's "dress the decade" outfit)

The idea seemed to come to me out of the blue last week. (Probably though, the seed got planted from those J Crew catalogs showing the models wearing a single belt wrapped twice around their waists.) Anyway, batting for Team Belt, I took the idea as an opportunity to shop. I was looking for two belts that:
-had similar-toned hardware,
-were of the same width (so that they could be buckled interchangeably),
-were slightly different colors.
-I also wanted the buckles to be offset from each other so I specifically sought one belt that is too small for my natural waist and one that is too big.

Miraculously, at my local consignment shop, I found two belts that meet all these criteria and, voile, here is the effect! What do you think, will it become a new fringe trend?
