WIW: Amber Sun Jacket - YouLookFab Forum

Today is the first wearing of my purple Amber Sun jacket (NAS purchase). Oh my...I love this jacket. I love the rich colour, the unusual shape, the pockets and in my opinion, the slight nod to retro with the double breasted style and wide lapels.

I've paired the jacket with my graphic tiered black/white dress. Now I'm not completely sure the jacket works with the boat neck of this dress but I'm going for it anyway!

For footwear, I've added my cream/black Doc Sara oxfords - I know they're not everyone's favourite with a dress but I love the look.

For accessories, I have my black/white leather handbag, my silver Gucci watch and my vintage 1960's brooch.

I'm happy with how this turned out - what do you think? Proportions and shapes all work together? As always, all comments/suggestions welcome.

Wow -- love this combination! I would also like to see this jacket with pants, since I think the length would work well.

Do these shoes meet your problem foot's current demands? If so, hats off to you for solving your style dilemma.

Shannon, this is STUNNING! Love the neckline of the dress under the jacket, and while these Docs don't always seem to work with dresses on others, they do work for you. Inspiring. How's your toe?

My toe is super sore today but luckily the Docs have fairly roomy and wide toe boxes. It's rubbing a bit and I did bring my gear sandals if I need to change. Depending on what she does at my doc appointment this afternoon, I'm not sure what I'll be wearing after today. Thanks for asking!
