WIW 8/20: More black and white - with aqua this time!

Counting down to the big move on Sunday, wearing the outfits I left out when I packed up all the rest of my clothes. This one features yet another awesome shirt sent to me by the awesome Carter. I love the color, and look! It matches my chair and ottoman!

House news: Moving inside, here's the layout of the new master bath. Clockwise from top left, it's shower, clawfoot tub, double vanity, toilet. It kind of looks like a crime scene photo at this point! Multiple fixturecide! LOL

JayS, I'm moving on Sunday so the master bath will most definitely not be ready. I will be camped out in the guest room and using the guest bath. We are on the tear-out-one-bathroom-at-a-time plan. Fortunately we decided not to touch the kitchen this time around so I will have a functioning kitchen. And the fridge and washer and dryer are being delivered on Saturday.

Thanks so much for the encouragement, everyone! I know I've said this before, but this house project is absolutely a dream come true for me! I was telling my contractor the other day that I've done smaller projects before (bathroom, landscaping, decorating), but this one is for sure my master's thesis in House Projects!

We're thinking of painting the outside of the tub silver...

Gingko, that is the best part!! The only one who has to agree is ME!! And also, I am utterly convinced that the reason it's gone so quickly and smoothly so far is that my contractor is a woman. We just communicate really well and oh my gosh! She knows how to keep things moving!

And Marley, yes. I planned out my outfits for this week before I packed up the rest of the clothes. Makes the mornings a lot easier!
