WIW 8/10: Navy, gray and yellow (really!)

I know this iPhone photo looks like it's black and tan, but believe me the skirt is navy and the top is gray! I am a little beat because I had to take Hubby to the ER last night for what turned out to be a (blessedly mild) case of diverticulitis.\, and I didn't get to bed until after 3 a.m! I was so glad I had my outfits for the week all planned so this morning I could just grab this and go! No jacket because it's supposed to be in triple digits today!

Gray dotted pussy-bow blouse: YLF swap
Navy linen skirt: J Crew
Gray patent pumps: Madden Girl
Yellow bag: Tignanello

Hope your DH is feeling better. Diverticulitis can be very painful, even a mild case, and it's good to treat it early. You look great despite the long night! I was on call last night so had no energy to take a picture and I was grumpy. I am very impressed by your glowing smile and lovely outfit. Love the yellow bag too.

I have really been liking this silhouette on you - of course you will always be da' bomb in your pencil skirts - but this is a nice alternative and looks so good on you.

Aida, unfortunately Hubby is working a 12-hour day today, is working all through the weekend, and won't have a day off until about Thursday. Horrible timing. But at least we've got him medicated.

Here's something fun: I was describing the ER visit and my wifely devotion today at court and said "I think somebody should pin a big gold star on me!" And one of the sheriff's deputies happened to be passing by and said, "I just happen to have a gold star," and he slapped a big gold star sticker on my chest! How fun is THAT?!?
