Hi,

I'm trying to get back into the habit of posting WIWs. Here are some recent outfits.

#1-Layering with Checks
I've been sporting a knit paired with a button down shirt often thus far this season.

#2-Brown Cowboy
Suede jacket paired with cowboy boots, a gift from my sister when we visited Nashville.

#3-Ivory and Blue
This cardigan was a recent purchase from Gap.

Lisa, #1 is exactly the proportion I was aiming for with one of my layered looks -- and failing to get. It's preppy fabulous on you.

That new Gap sweater is a lot of fun as well.

And yes! Let's hear how the wardrobe maintenance is going, please!

Great to see you Lisa! Love the fab proportions in #1 and the lovely sweater colour. Awesome boots in #2 and the jacket length and colour look good. Loving the cosy bomber in #3. I'm enjoying the fit and proportion in all iterations.

Aubergine-Thanks! I am really enjoying this red shade paired with blue best. I've also tried it with black and brown but keep returning to pairing it with blue.

Diane G-Thanks! And a great observation. I knew I enjoyed this outfits but couldn't figure out why, and I think you've nailed it. The proportions really seem to work and that will certainly make a difference for a hit or miss look.

I love outfit #2. Such a fun cowgirl look. And you wear shades of brown with the best of them. Nice that brown is a fashion colour again, isn't it. You are cute and cuddly in the other two outfits too. Rock on. xo

Angie-Thanks! I am really enjoying brown and happy to see it in the stores. I've been slowly shifting my wardrobe to more browns, I find them more flattering on me than black. I hope brown sticks around for a while longer!
