WIW 7/8: Oh, my! A sweatshirt at the office!

This lightweight gray sweatshirt has been a favorite since I bought it last summer, and today I decided it was time to take it to work! I'm super pleased with how this outfit turned out. I like it better without the jacket, but you know me and my jacket fetish...

Is anybody else feeling a little rebel-rebel when dressing for the office in hot weather? Any feedback on this outfit?

Another brilliant color combination! I never would have thought of playing up the gray in the skirt but I love this. The fit and neckline of the sweatshirt looks great on you, flattering and "not sporty".

Well, I'm deep into my gray phase, so I love it! Assuming there's no absolute dress code, the skirt and heels make the perfect contrast, and from here it looks like a knit pullover.

This is saying a lot, since I love all your outfits, but honestly, this is one of my favourites EVER.

I don't think I can take this much fabulousness. Look at the shoes with the skirt and sweatshirt!!!

I beyond love this. The casualness of the sweatshirt seems to somehow elevate the skirt, which is among the pantheon of great skirts already. This outfit is simultaneously casual and dressy. Perfect. An 11 on a scale of 10.

I think this is amazing, Mary! I always love the juxtaposition of sporty with dressy and you definitely have that going on here. I also love the grey (love this style of sweater on you, btw) with the happy orange. The pattern in the pencil skirt, your fab cream bag and metallic pumps all contribute to the dressy factor too. What a super outfit!

WOW WOW WOW WOW...this is incredible on you Mary. The grey sweatshirt is incredible with that skirt and I think the outfit looks fabulous both with and without that pretty orange jacket. Your accessories in your shoes and handbag are the icing on the pretty cake.
