WIW 7/1 and lots of Q's for YLF'ers

This is my last work WIW for a while, I am going on vacation with the family next week. Maybe I will start posting more of my puppy chasing/worm digging MOTG outfits for inspection and dissection.

First, today's WIW. This is a take off of MaryK's Kendi copycat. Thanks for the inspiration! H&M tiny fit blazer actually sits at my waist! A first! Hurrah!

Then two items for inspection. I've been growing out my hair since last summer's hair disaster and today I decided to go for The Big Chop. It's short but I love it!

Lastly, the vest... I've been looking for a vest for a while and nothing in the regular adult sizes fit me right. Last night on my way out of Target I spotted this kids' XL denim vest. It fits, but does it fit well and look good? Also suggestions for styling would be welcome. Every outfit I tried it on with today felt very cater/waiter.

I'm not a vest lover in general, so I'm also not completely smitten with the vest. But I don't hate it. If you love it and want to keep it, I'm cool with that.

Your hair looks fantastic! I really like outfit #1/2, very nicely done. I'm on the fence for the vest, I think it is the halter neck that's bugging me.

GREAT haircut!! First outfit is great - love the color! I'm not lovin' the vest so much, I think it's the cut that seems a little off to me.

You hair is SO FRICKIN ADORABLE!! Outfit 1 is cute. I love that skirt and the jacket color is great on you. The vest looks like it fits well, but I am not sure about the way the neckline is cut so low.

Modgirl your hair looks amazing. Very sophisticated and a bit 1940's movie star glam! Outfit is fantastic..it works SO well for you. I'm not a vest lover so hard for me to comment objectively but I don't think it's the best look for you, however it's not terrible so if you like it and feel good I say go for it... Confidence in what we wear is definitely part of looking good.

Love the hair, love the style! I would be curious to see the vest unbuttoned, over a different top. It certainly fits nicely.

Killer look #1. I like the kids denim vest, it appears to fit well and I don't think you look too cater/waiter (and I am server). It would have to be black, worn with a white shirt to look too food-service-y.
