I love the red and white stripped top that I picked up not long ago but was not sure that I could pull it off for work but I don't think that it looks bad with the dress pants( I normally pair with skinny jeans). I was debating on if I should pair with white pants and a lighter something over the top of it what does everyone think?
So I went with white pants I will post a pic when I get off work. Hope everyone has a great day!

My first reaction would be to hike up the bottom of your top so it hits at your hips, I think it's a tad out of proportion with the width of your pants. Cant wait to see how you styled it with the white pants though!

I would like this dress with skinny jeans, or with a skirt over it so only the top half is showing. With the wider leg trousers here, the top is hugging the trousers and pulling in some of the volume of the trouser against the leg. For my eye, it throws off the nice drape the trouser has. A skinny jean would not compete with the dresses form fitting style. Red is lovely on you!

Sorry I did not get the chance yesterday to upload the update pic but here it is with the white pants. Forgive the rumpled look it was after work and these pants tend to wrinkle if I look at them wrong lol...Oh I also wore the same heels as the first set of pics with this to work but I took this pic after I had changed to sandals. Thanks for everyone's feed back and help with this.

Great top! I think I would also like it over dark skinnies or with the bootcuts, but slightly shorter in length.
