Hi,

Here are some recent outfits.

#1-Stripes and Cobalt
Pairing my "referee" top with bright bottoms.

#2-Green and Stripes
The striped top from Angie's capsule blog post, it is really soft. These are my BF jeans, unrolled.

#3-Teal and Grey
Another outfit from recent capsule posts. I would not have though to pair this top with these jeans prior to working through the capsules in my closet.

#4-Peplum and BF
Pairing peplum with the BF jeans.

#5-Peplum and BF with Blazer
Layering with a blazer.

Suz-Thanks! The great thing about the one in/one out exercise I did after my NAS haul, was now all my NAS items are front and center. It's a lot easier for me to see them and remember to wear them. Plus, they are the bulk of my choices anyway.

Janet-Thanks! The striped top in #1 is great for me in a/c setting because it is such a lightweight piece. And a nice change from my knits.

Diane G-Thanks! I think I have my style set for fall, but when winter rolls around I will have to start all over again with my capsules.

Angie-Thanks! #2 was a rare day of my hair down. It's been up everyday this summer and has gotten pretty long! I am overdue for a trim. Maybe I will see if I can get a cut to bring out more waves. The peplum top in #4 has become a favorite piece, it's just fun wearing such a different style from my usual knits and t-shirts.

As a lover of high contrast outfits #1 and 5 are my favorites. I have never met a black white and cobalt combo that I didn't love. I think the addition of the jacket in #5 really grounds the outfit and provides both shape and contrast as the top and bottom are very low contrast on their own.

I think these are all great! I love the striped top in #1 and the stripes and army jacket in #2 are also great. I wouldn't have thought to pair the ruffled top and the blazer in #3 and will keep that in mind for the future. I think it looks really good. Also like the peplum top and BF jeans in #4/5

Day Vies-Thanks! I find I almost always sport the cobalt jeans with a high contrast top. I always really like that type of look with cobalt (or any bright for that matter).

Sara L-Thanks! The ruffles on the teal top are pretty flat, so it seems to work well layered with my blazers. I try to keep layering ability in mind when I select tops with short sleeves, because I am often cold.
