I was hoping to do a full week of this challenge, but life got in the way and I ended up doing it for only two days this week, Monday and Tuesday, and failed to post those in timely manner. So I am posting them today to catch up.
The fantasy outfit was inspired by some of the 70's Sensual Glam looks from Pucci Spring 2015 collection (#1). My fantasy version (#2 and #3) is in cool tones as warm tones do not look good on me, and consists of eggplant blazer, purple silk blouse and cobalt bootcut pants. I sadly do not own any flares in bright enough color so had to go for less dramatic bootcuts.
This outfit would not fly for my work place, as it is too dressy,bright and fashion forward. So my reality version (#4 and #5) represents a toned down version appropriate for the lab. The bright pants were substituted with dark flare jeans and the silky blazer with a black leather moto. The extra dose of reality is brought by the fact that I hemmed these flare jeans for 1.5" heels to accommodate my fussy feet.
