Yesterday, Monday, was my first full day home after the fab trip to NYC with my son, and I spent most of the day laying around the house. I did finally bestir myself to go to the gym (which outfit I will spare you) and then for a mani-pedi with a friend. Note the 2012 Tangerine toenails and ignore the lack of makeup! And I promise I wore the flip-flops only to and from the nail salon! The leather jacket, scarf, and flip-flops combo felt very So Cal-ish after a bundled up week in the frozen northeast! And these were the only jeans that weren't in the laundry!
Today was my first day back at work and I broke out one of the jackets I bought at an Upper East side consignment store, along with my old faithful Halogen pussy bow blouse and pencil skirt. I fell in love with warm and cozy tights while I was away so I wore a pair to match my Madden Girl gray pumps. I felt like this outfit was kind of a miss, perhaps because I look a little puffy and worn out from too much vacation!
