I love the boots and the jacket. What a great outfit!
Honestly, I get really confused with all of this style talk. I honestly think it is not the clothes what defines the style of the wearer, but rather the other way around, especially when it comes to more classic pieces. This is why an item of clothing is not going to look the same on you than on me. I am not as eloquent as most of you beautiful ladies, but I will try to illustrate with an example.
For instance, I have that very same pencil skirt, similar boots, jacket and ruffled top. If I was to replicate your outfit, I can guarantee you that the outfit is going to look much more different on me than on you. You will see a big hint of bombshell but not a hint of UWP. I think I have a much more classic style persona.
This is why Angie's pencil skirt post (on the bombshell definition), resonated with me. As you can see, Angie transmits an extremely well honed and refined style personality thru her clothes. She always looks elegant, polished and refined, irrelevant of what she wears.
Going back to your post, if I analyze the clothes on their own, all I can see, since your closet is quite new, is classic pieces adjusted for current trends: i.e. colored pencil skirts, ruffles, lace up boots etc. It is your personality what transforms the clothing into a true style. If you feel like bombshell, run with it and explore it fully!
