I really like how this turned out. Acne mint shirt and vest, Victoria Beckham skinny blush jeans (last year), blush pink See by Chloe high top wedge sneakers and old gold pendant.

I'm crazy about the mint green blouse, vest, pendant combo on you Anna - the colour is delish on you! Combined with the blush skinnies and high top wedge sneakers (which are AMAZING) - you look like pretty summer ice cream colours!

Anna, I'm going to say this only because I know you won't take it the wrong way. I want to love this outfit, but I am having a huge adverse reaction to the colors. I'm reminded of the early 80s when I looked dreadful in everything because it was all peach and pink and mint (Jordan Almonds, anyone?)... It has nothing to do with the fabness of this outfit, and everything to do with my own bizarre memories. Isn't that weird?

I would love any one of these pieces with something black. And objectively I can see you look great.

I know I'm an idiot, and I'm only saying it here because I'm hoping it will help me move through my issues.

Thanks everyone! The shoes passed the Costco and Target test. I still might want to put insoles in them for extra cushioning.
Una, I remember those colors. In fact I think I look a bit like those mints they always have in a bowl at a wedding. I know this isn't everyone's cup of mint tea (sorry couldn't resist the pun). This is even pushing my own comfort zone. If you asked me a year ago that I would be wearing head to toe pastels I would have asked you what you've been smoking.

The shoes are incredible. But the whole outfit is amazing Anna. I love the way everything works together here and your playfulness of using the chewing gum/bubble gum inspiration.

I'm like Una, these colours did no favours for me in the eighties (I wore them and liked them though!). Looks fab on you.

I love that you're pushing your comfort zone, Anna, and I loved Jordan almonds. I had an oxford cloth button down in every color they came in! Does this mean that pastels are coming back? You're kind of a cutting edge style-barometer you know! Cute outfit, BTW.

I actually thought about this overnight !!

I consider you the most experimental of the regular fab ladies. Therefore, I felt that I should be honest with you.

This is the type of look, that theoretically, IMO would sound very "runway" and not at all real life. I have an aversion to pastels...except at Easter ( LOL ). But this, in some strange, inexplicable, way works on you. I think that the silhouettes, the boots, the layering, the long necklace, YOU just toughen it up and make it non-sweet.

My neuronal pathways and my eyes are having such a tough time : one screams "this goes against everything I believe to my core " while the other screeches back, " My God, the core is WRONG."

Anna you often cause me to broaden my thinking when it comes to style and fashion... and I appreciate that. This is a look I would never dream off in a million years, and while I don't think I could carry it off, you can! The colors are so soft and gorgeous and I think you look great. If it's cold what would you wear as a topper?

I wore a olive parka puffer that day. Not inspiring but the high that day was 49F (9C). If it was warmer I might try my white leather moto.

I love it, Anna! The shirt all buttoned up, the sparkle in the sweater vest, how you've paired the pastel tops with light-coloured jeans and sneakers, the gold pendant. It all works for me.
I didn't realize this before, the mint shirt is more of a cooler shade, while the vest has a bit of sour green to it - I love the pastel combination even more because of that.

I think this is gorgeous ! The colors are just different enough to work perfectly as an edgy, not sweet combo. It is that slight warm and cool thing going on. I agree with Inge. Anna, this is a knock out and goes so well with your coloring!

I really don't get why most people seem to have such a strong negative reaction to pastels. It must mean something. I always loved them. This outfit is plain fun to look at. I look forward to seeing how you put those new sneakers to work.
