I think there's a pattern emerging: once I (re)discover something I like, I just wear the heck out of it. Latest example: metallic loafers, previously seen in my weekend festival outfit. They are so comfortable and easy to wear after I had slipped the insoles in, that they are in heavy rotation. Definite wardrobe workhorse.

Today's outfits were built around them and the purple tee shirt which has a special place in my wardrobe as it reminds me of my mum. The colour does not show very well, but it is beautiful, deep rich purple.

Outfit 1 - Sort of denim on denim, worn to drop the kid off to kindergarden, then pop to town and meet a friend for coffee. Ubiquitous hat, sorry, and the first of today's two bracelets with some gold elements in it. This bracelet (top right corner) is my one nod to UWP and all those studs always remind me of Una.

Outfit 2 - Worn to go to kid's future school for some informal info gathering, still I wanted to look a bit more pulled together than earlier in the day in case I bump at one of the teachers. Swapped the bottom part of the previous outfit for older and shorter of my two white jeans (better PPL for flats). Shannon was right - there is something very dressy about white denim that it almost does not count as jeans. I also added blue waterfall cardigan as it was getting windy, because I like pairing it with rich colours. Different bracelet and voila, 2 outfits from 1 transformation.
