WIW 1/23, 1/24, 1/25: Halogen pencil skirt times three!

1. Monday it was pretty chilly so I cozied up in a sweater and boots. I liked how this turned out, my skeptical facial expression notwithstanding!

2. Tuesday was the YLF meetup organized by CocoLion! I wanted to look super fab but I'm afraid this outfit looked better in my head than in real life. I felt a little obvious and garish next to super-chic and super-cool Marley and Vicki and the others in their fab neutrals! However I didn't let that stop me from having the VERY BEST TIME EVER!!!

3. After spending a fab evening with Vicki I decided to bust out a Vicki copycat I'd been planning for some time. It turned out GREAT and I was sorry I hadn't worn it for the meetup!

I love the colour combo of the camel and grey MaryK - I don't have the colouring to pull it off so I have to love it on you instead! You are seriously making me want a Halogen pencil skirt - I love the colours and the fit on you is beyond perfect. Love the Vicki copycat outfit - very crisp.

So fabulous. Pencil skirt, full skirt, dresses... you look great in all of them. #2 and #3 are superior to any pencil skirt look I've seen.

I have two comment on #2 again after looking at it again! LOVE! I want those blue boots!

Wow, I would not have dreamed of putting those Frye boots with the slate pencil skirt and it's awesome!

A question: Did you have your skirts shortened? I think mine hits lower on the knee and I like yours so much better.

HeyLucy, I am 5'2" and I got the petite skirts, so no, I didn't have them shortened. The regular sizes didn't fit me at all, in length or otherwise.
