WIW 12/19 and 12/20: Copying A.J. and Nordie's

Yesterday I couldn't resist copying AJ's awesome cobalt-skirt-and-moto-jacket look. My colors were darker and my scarf was lighter but I think I captured the vibe pretty well!

Cobalt pencil skirt: Halogen
Ponte knit black moto jacket: T Tahari
Leopard scarf: Secret Santa gift (*waving at Debbie*)
Black boots: Frye Rory
Black microfishnets: Oroblu

Today I copied an outift I saw on the Nordstrom web site. I thought the color combination was fresh and unexpected and I was super happy with how it turned out. LOVE the nude shoes with the bright colors up top! Plus it perfectly showcased my Secret Santa necklace! Squee!! (I definitely need to work on my model scowl, though!)

The Nordies outfit is fun, too. It's always amazing to me how you can pull just about anything out of that closet and actually make it *work.*

SQUEE!! Luv how our similar pieces give off two distinct vibes casual fun and office bombshell! My scarf was actually my cowl neck top. The gold tones in your scarf echo the gold studs on your bag. I like that our boots slouch the same. : ) I'm honored to have inspired an outfit from the "magic closet.!"
