WIW 11/11: UWP Wannabe checking in

I got my Una/Rae UWP sweater from Nordie's yesterday, just in time to wear it today for my office's annual "bonding weekend" in Santa Barbara. I don't think it's possible to improve on Una's original styling with skinny jeans and tall boots!

Rust cotton top: Heed
Skinny jeans: DKNY
Cognac boots with Oxford detailing: Aldo (these just arrived, too, and I LOVE them!!)
Circle necklace: gift from Ornella
Chocolate tote with gold bling: Elliott Lucca
Brown suede jacket: AT Loft

Thanks for looking. Is this working or have I finally gone round the age-and-lifestyle-appropriateness bend?

P.S. Don't look at my hair. I"m on my way to the salon!

oh gosh! I seriously had my doubts but this is fab! LOVE the boots! I especially love it with the jacket in #2. You are rocking this sweater!

I couldn't resist clicking, I was so curious to see MaryK as UWP. Wow! You and Una and Rae all look fierce in this sweater! I have the feeling this sweater is going to be like the moss green poncho that took my mommy board by storm....everyone's going to have to have one! Love the color on you and LOVE those fab new ALDO boots (so sad they didn't work for me)! They match the sweater perfectly! Oh, and by the way, I really LOVE your hair soft and flat. I actually prefer it to the salon-ified look...I guess I'm into the more natural vibe (as evidenced by my lack of hairstyle/makeup myself)!

Wow, I'm not sure which I like better, the fab UWP sweater, or the fab new boots. Great colors here. The only other way I would style this sweater, besides skinny jeans, is leather skinnies.

Cool look! Not age inappropriate at all. I think it would look great with heeled oxfords and the same skinny jeans. If you want to go a little less fierce, for a UWP in training look.

Oh dear, I actually went onto the Nordstroms site and in the search engine typed "una uwp sweater). But I shall hang in here, and ultimately prevail!

This is such a cool outfit with a bit of a nice mod 60's vibe. From what little I've seen so far, you pull off some very diverse styles with panache and success!
