My mom sewed this skirt for me several years ago but I have not worn it much recently because it sits lower on the waist than I would like. (Not her fault - at the time, I was into lower-waisted skirts and now I like the complete opposite.) I finally took the time to sew in some lazy belt loops (just pieces of ribbon) so I could hike it up and belt it. It ended up with a slightly paper-bag style waist because of the excess fabric.

I photographed it with my current everyday bag because it actually matches today!

tee: H&M (this is my fave puffy sleeve tee style from H&M, of which I have several - it has little puffy cap sleeves, so I apologize for any apoplexies I may have caused!)
skirt: mom-made
sandals: Naot
necklace: ?, from Filene's basement
belt: Gap or BR? I think...
bag: Sak
