Have you guys missed seeing my handknit items? I finally finished a summer one. A while ago, Denise, Mo and others had bought these fab drop-stitch sweaters, and I thought it would be great to have one too. However, being me, I could not just go out and buy one, I had to make it. It took a while to knit, as the yarn (a thin cotton tape) is not super easy to knit.

I paired it with my Gap SBF jeans (what? I want to spend all my time with my new boyfriend! Can you blame me?) and a citron tank underneath to break up all the blue. I'm glad I found a way to wear this tank since I love the color but the shape is kind of unflattering on its own.

Yesterday, Kyle was asking about dolman/dropped sleeves - this top has no shoulder structure at all (the sleeves are knit along with the body in one piece), which is usually a recipe for disaster for my sloping shoulders. Plus it has a boat neck, which is not good for my very short neck. However, as I mentioned in Kyle's thread, somehow all these things do not matter when the top is sheer, holey, or otherwise see-through like this one is.
