Beautiful fall day here today, so hubs and I are spending the afternoon walking around Annapolis and having lunch. I'm going for a casual comfortable vibe, and it turned out kind of tomboyish, which is fine by me.
I'm editing this post to take a stab at figuring out whether these pieces are statements or essentials...
Plaid shirt: Target (statement -- color and pattern)
Moto pants: Lululemon (I feel like these are essentials in the "black pants" category -- the moto stitching is subtle and I can, and do, wear these with almost anything)
Belt: boutique in Reykjavik (workhorse statement)
Oxfords: Anna Sui for Hush Puppies from 3 or so years ago (hmmm, not really essential as I don't wear them a lot, but perhaps too subtle for a statement?)
Backpack: Aimee Kestenberg (statement)
Denim jacket: Paige (hmm, again, does the mixed media effect render it more statement than essential? I'm guessing yes)
