OK, I actually went back and changed. You all are right -- I was actually not *physically* comfortable! The skirt is a wee bit tighter in the waist (usually NOT my trouble spot) than it used to be, and when I sat, it pinched and made me feel icky. The tights are not pinchy, fortunately, so I kept them on and put on my distressed (holey) AG jeans, my black AIKO sweater with the white leather sleeves (with an underlayer beneath), and my Aquitalia boots, since we do have snow and ice and salt on the ground. I'm going to meet some friends for casual dinner, and I feel much more comfortable in this.
Plus, it's just freaking cold out there. I just trapped a mouse in our kitchen recycling bin and carried it out to the back of our yard to deposit him in the woods, and decided I want warm comfy clothes tonight as the temps continue to dip!
Added a scarf that will probably just be worn with my coat, although it makes me realize I would love to have a nice new black and white houndstooth (cashmere?) scarf. I reach for a black and white scarf often enough that I would like a nicer one. This one is old and not really up to the quality I would like to wear now.
