WIW - loving neutrals

I'd love to wear more neutrals and low contrast looks, so this outfit with the column of color felt just right. I really like that the scarf takes center stage! I'm feeling way more comfortable in this than in the outfit with the red pants.

The scarf takes the black away from your face and from what I have read, this is the desirable look...I love the black with the scarf...You have defined the look just right...

Thanks Kelly! And I'm always taking compliments on the hair. There's been quite mixed reactions IRL and I was actually a bit surprised seeing which people didn't like it. I'm still happy about it though.

The new hair changes everything -- I love the way it opens up your petite face.

Well done! Color does have an effect on both the wearer and the viewer. Learning what makes you feel at home is really important. Navy is a very rich neutral.

Thanks Tania! It is super warm. I've bought it in Scotland. I'm going to use it the next time I'm travelling with the train too, it doubles up perfectly as a blanket in air condition.

Thanks Beth Ann! I think I definitely want a more neutral wardrobe (light grey, charcoal, navy and denim) with color added in, not a colorful wardrobe per se.

People are funny about hair. It's hard to believe anyone doesn't like your new do. Some people are upset by change. This is my most favorite outfit that you have shown us. Plus, you can easily change it with different scarves or different neutrals together.
