I haven't posted a WIW in a while, despite the fact that I feel like I've put together some pretty decent outfits lately. I just haven't taken the time to photograph.
I have worn this mixed media skirt from NAS once for a dressed up occasion, but I've been really bad about getting out my skirts and dresses and dressing them down this winter -- I've been very, very casual lately. But I looked at this skirt this morning and swore I was going to casualize it!
I also normally don't wear flats with a pencil skirt, especially a skirt with a bit of length like this one. I think it works though -- my hope is that the denim and leather keep it from going to frumpy town.
My solid black oxfords made the outfit feel too heavy and all-black from the waist down, so I chose these oxfords instead and I really liked the way they broke up the black. I think the tights are photographing more opaque than they actually are. I was going to put on a bracelet before I left the house but forgot. Oh well. I'm actually enjoying minimal accessorizing lately.
I need a haircut!
Comments and suggestions welcome.
