I was a little hesitant with showing this outfit after being away from the forum for a while because it is just so basic and plain. I have been wearing a lot of new and interesting outfits that I love lately, but haven't stopped to photograph them. But today I am just so happy. It's my 23rd wedding anniversary and we had a lazy day at home followed by a simple casual dinner at our favorite little Italian place that is homey and sweet - not fancy. I wanted to be comfortable and wear something that was open at the neckline since I would be sitting in a booth all evening, and I just wanted my husband to see my face... and perhaps just a tiny bit more.
(The first photo is just because of my earlier post in off topic about my new vanity. Today was the first time that I used my new space to get ready, and since it was late in the day, I enjoyed a glass of wine instead of coffee while getting ready. Other than enjoying my husband's company over dinner, this was a highlight of my day...)
Oh, and in other news, I got my nose pierced! I love it so much and can't wait until it's healed enough to try out different jewelry. You know me though, they won't be sparkly and bright - a little subtle and edgy.
