Well I squeezed this challenge into the last day of the week!! Took me until Friday to get my courage up!!

Its hard to tell because of bad lighting, but the dress is dark brown, with black belt and cardie, and the silver docs. I tried to keep it all dark and neutral since I didn't want to stand out too much in these boots. Next time (yes there will be one!!) I will go for something more fun.

These boots are so comfy - I love them!!

I love the way you kept it all neutral so as to help you ease into wearing the docs to work. I think the all neutral theme makes it so totally appropriate for work and you are a genius to think of it!

You look great, Tam! I like the neutrals. I felt very self-conscious about my docs in the beginning, but taking pictures helped - in the photos they didn't look very pronounced at all. Glad you like them, they are so comfy!

I found this look inspiring. I will take the view from my window one day then you will see my predicament. The area around here is so hilly and yet I work in a semi formal office environment, this could be the perfect solution.

I was thinking about a flat knee length riding boot but I think they would look too twee with the clothes I am hoping to purchase.

Out of curiosity where the Docs comfortable to begin with or did they take alot of breaking in?

Aww thanks guys, I am so glad I jumped on the bandwagon that other forum members such as Marianne, Laura, Tanya and Lena started with these boots. They are incredibly comfy!!!

Marianne I would love to see more pics of yours!!!

Eve I will try to post more pics as I wear them more often. I only have 3 more days of 5:30am starts so I should have more time in the mornings from now on - woohoo!!

R+J they are super comfy so I hope you are inspired to get a pair. I don't know if the silvery leather is softer than usual, but I had no problems with these being uncomfy at first. However I have a pair of cherry red 8 hole docs I bought several years ago that I distinctly remember having to break in before they were comfy. All same size so I don't know what the change is!

Hanna I don't know if they will go for everyday at work, but Fridays tend to be a bit more casual than every other day, so Fridays for sure. Maybe even this Friday!!!

Niva are you considering getting a pair too?

And Kristen it was a big step for me wearing them to work too. And mayb it was all in my mind since no-one said a thing? Oh well, another hurdle crossed thanks to ylf!!!
