I'm surprised at my non-dress wearing self, I really do love this particular Peruvian Connection black dress. It has a built in slip layer and very soft fabric (but very wrinkled in photo from being shipped in a small box). The draped (slouchy) neckline and elbow length sleeves make it more modest, which I like. And sort of natural runching makes it nice to move around in. The built in slip keeps it from being overly body con.
This outift is an option for wedding/formal events. The dress was about $89. The belt about $15 - I already owned it. The shoes about $30 on sale from Aerosoles and go with a lot of other things, the black floral embroidered clutch from Etsy about $12. And the glass bead necklace (vintage) was just $10 from a local collector's store.
