Whew! What a weekend, jam packed with STUFF TO DO!
Wheee!
Started the weekend with an idea in mind - saw these boots online, and kinda love them. I do not love those prices, though! Happily, thanks the Janet and the lovely, YLF ladies, I was in the midst of going through my shoes (thanks for the inspiration!), and found an abandoned pair of cowboy boots (pic 1) from some years ago (an ill-conceived purchase - I didn't look NEARLY as cute in them as my friend who's style I was trying to vibe). One trip to the thrift later, I had a stack of belts to work with, too (2). (3) is my end result, and (4) is a throw together outfit with them (and makes me sorely aware I need to get some boot clips or something - hate those baggy knees!).
[related to the above: Is there an "I made this!" section somewhere I am missing?]
4: At the (midday) double feature, science fiction picture show (in the back row)
Sequinned black cardigan - Charlotte Russe, thrifted
Neon pink polo - Hollister, thrifted
Snow leopard skinnies - GoJane
DIY Luxury Jones-style boots (SYC?)
** actually DID go to the double feature, and it was science fiction! I was amused.
5: Weekend errands
Sheer pink button front - Aeropostale spring sale
Teal cami tank - Express (these are the best tanks I've found)
Tweed vest - Express, via eBay
Tiered patchework "gypsy" skirt - gift from a friend
--6: shoes for outfit in 5 - kitty faced smoking loafer/ slipper flats
7: (tabletop) Game night with friends
Grey open-knit sweater - outback Red via The Limited
Teal cami tank (same as above)
Guess baby bells - thrifted
-- 8: shoes for outfit in 7 - Teal peeptoe wedges - Charlotte Russe, some years ago
9: Monday Tuesday
Violet slouchy v-neck (it's more purple in person than it photographs) - The Limited
Pink boatneck tank - I honestly have no idea, I think I bought it 15 years ago
Black trousers - Ralph Lauren, thrifted
Pink pointy stillettos - gifted
